Finally did some bird watching

I haven’t been on much. Work is crazy and weekends have just been busy-in a fun way. We are always hiking, snowshoeing, etc. I haven’t spent much time on bird photography. Finally did so this weekend. No portfolio worthy images, but did find some migratory waterfowl plus had a snowy Sunday resulting in chaos at the feeders. Sorry, but the wood duck photo is very processed. It was a dark day plus was shooting out the car. Not sure if heat distortion played a roll, distance to subject or high ISO or shake from the car running? Actually all my photos from Friday (wood ducks and snow goose) had the same “ not very crisp” look

The snow goose was all alone next to a river but looked healthy enough. I also saw a juvenile eagle but too dark to bother posting.

Wood ducks are a rare sight around here!
