Finals from my shoot last week.

I won't post 'em all 'cause there's a lot, but here are my faves. I tried many new things, new to me, on this shoot from lighting setups, poses, to PP.

Point out anything you might see that should be avoided in the future, either in shooting or in processing. Thanks.

Hard to tell, on one monitor its fine, other its not. The first & second image, are the eyes overdone?

Lol. Thanks Charlie. I hate selective color, but when I told her my idea for that shot she says "ooh..can you make my shoes red...I love that type of stuff" lol. So I sighed and said yes and tried to make it pleasing to view. lol.

I think they eyes are a tad bright in #1. I really like #1,2, and 3.

I like the silhouettes but #10 seems to have more going on than meets the eye

O,1,3...all "money"! SOme of the nicest studio shots I've seen on TPF in a long time. These are very "cute" and "fun", "loving", and will be nice Valentine's shots. I'm not too fond of the chin line on the man in the later shots...I think he'd look much better chin-up when seen in profile. #11 for example is a bad profile on him....#12 a bit better. #10, the purpleish background reminds me of Charlie's Angels, for some inexplicable reason...but the heads are not working...they just kind of blend into a big blob. On #8, I think I would clone down that reflection on his forehead a bit...leave some, but kill the "white".

While I agree it's a good photo... It's pretty clearly flashed. Not saying that's a bad thing, it's expected in a studio. The catchlights tell all. ;-)

Good set overall, Ernie. Just a few nits and picks but nothing major. :thumbup:

GJ dude.. I still think it is a mistake getting rid ALL the eye bags

#1 is just a heavy crop of #2. With that in mind, having only half of the cornea in the eye socket is really a let down, since she has such a sparkle in her eyes. Also, had she rolled slightly onto her right hip rather than sitting flat on her bottom, I think there would have been a dynamic change in the pose. It would have lowered her right shoulder, allowing her to open up the shoulders slightly. It also would naturally caused her left shoulder to move more into the frame, all of which would have given more of a base for her head to sit on. That seemingly negligible shift would give us guys more cheesecake.

All together, very nice set. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks to all who have replied...I'm finishing up setting up for tonights shoot so I'll reply more later. Great info from many of you, thank you.

I'm exicted for tonight...I found a boom arm nestled away up in the ceiling...didn't know it was there...so I'm going to be experimenting with top lighting tonight....stoked. Either fail or hit...we'll see. lol
