Fire!!!

These 2 images were actually published in 2 of Australia's main National newspapers (The Australian and The Sydney Morning Herald). I don't know if they made it into any affiliated papers or not.

I was busy fighting this fire, but I took these while a crew member was changing my air cylinder with the set still on my back, so they were virtually snap shots.

The first was a 1/2 page photo inside with the main story and the second made the front page as a small preview for the story (the ones that they stick a small title and the page number on).

BTW I made nothing for these shots. I gave them to the paper but got credits for the pics in the paper.

Congratulations on getting these two photos into the paper. Makes them "photojournalistic" not only as an idea, but in reality! Good!

It looks, though, like - despite all your attempts - you could not save the house nor anything that was inside it. I hope no one got hurt!
