All of these were taken from two recent wild fires near me.

#2 is a great shot, got both fire and fire-fighter in the scene.

... umm, how near is near ?

#3 is my favorite.

One fire was about an hour away, north end of the county. Fire number two was about 30 minutes away, just outside town.

I love the one of the CL-215, that one just really sets well with me! :1219: But that whole set is outstanding!

Almost missed those, fantastic set.

The CL215 is actually either a CL215T or a CL415 because it has turbine engines as opposed to radial piston engines. If it was formally a CL215 that was updated to turbine engines then it's a CL215T. If it came off the production line with turbine engines then it is a CL415. Also CL215's and CL215T's have 2 bomb doors, CL415's have 4.

Very nice images.
