My favourite is number 1 because the red/blue divide between the explosion. I like number 2. Number 3, one of the explosions is finishing so it doesn't look as nice and I like the framing in number 4 because you can see reflections of the lovely colours on the water but again the explosion is fading away so it isn't as spectacular.

What kind of exposure do you use to get the city exposed properly while still getting the fireworks right?

EXIF date shows 4 secs for the first 3 and 10 for the last

this was my setting during that shoot ^^, It was on my 2nd or 3rd day of fireworks shoots when i get the settings right and i kinda crazy reading how to shoot it, I am not just so sure about the framing :er:

but more to go and lots of things to learn to get wow factors on my photos.... felt like i am so lousy at my shoots, i can feel that there is still something i need to learn but i can't figure it out ^^
