first attempt at HDR

Nice vibrant colors without any blooming or halos! Looks very natural.

There are some dark areas though could be brought out, though. Maybe another frame or two at the +EV end.

HDR wise I think it looks great, getting a complex tree / sky merge without haloing is a good accomplishment. Focus looks a tad soft to my bleary eyes though.

This looks like a normal picture I don't see anything that looks like HDR hit it. There is almost nothing in this photo that can benefit from HDR. Try taking a shot from inside the barn to outside that will probably be more HDR promising.

While I think HDR photos SHOULD look like "normal" pictures, I agree with mcgavin that this rendition of the photo didn't benefit from multiple exposures. It just appears to be a bit oversaturated. The shadows are still lacking detail, at least at this size.
