First attempt at Macro Car edition

So this weekend i was called upon by a friend of mine to do an intercooler piping job for his car. Needless to say when i go there the motor nor trans was in the car. He was very unprepared but i had driven 1 hour 40 minutes to get there. I also just happened to get a New Nikon Nikor 60 mm Macro lens 1:1 ratio 2.8F. I only sanpped about 50 photos but the lighting was horrible in the shop and i was pretty busy with the install.
These images are of a CNC port and polished set of cylinder heads and the Mcloed Twin disc setup he was running.

Alittle back story on the car.
Cadillac CTS with LSX 6.0 Twin turbo estimated 1000hp.

Yea i wasnt expecting to see the CNC machining lines but i was very impressed with the lens.

I couldnt get the shot i wanted. We were moving pretty quickly to get the tranmission in. I thought it was a pretty neat shot from what i got.
