Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hey just got my pentax k-7 a few weeks ago, so I've been taking pictures like crazy. Figured I'd post a couple here. I've been using the 18-55mm kit lens so far, and sometimes my 80-200mm old zoom lens but the aperature doesn't work on this camera(it's an old lens)

None of you pictures work.

Go up in your flickr and to the right of the Twitter bird, click the drop down menu and select "grab HTML or BB code" copy the BB code into the body of the post. Then you get this:

Ok thanks for helping me get my pictures posted on this, though do you care to elaborate your problems with my pictures? I would like to know what I need to work on.

For a beginner these are really quite good. The first 4 are all excellent shots, you seem to have a good grasp on the basics. For the flower shot I would have gone for a deeper depth of field.

I really like the shadows in #4 (it is good if you number your picture for easy reference)

I think, by saying your pictures don't work he meant he couldn't see them! These are not bad at all. I particularly like 2 and 3. 2 could do with a bit of brightening though. The composition of the last is not great. Try to avoid putting your subject in the middle of the frame - this rarely makes a good photo. Have a read about the Rule of Thirds, and you should start to see yourself creating much more visually pleasing shots. Apart from that, a pretty good go. Keep shooting!

I like #2 as it is something I dont see often but would like it better if with more depth of field. The glare is also distracting. I would shoot from a different angle or use a fill-light to eliminate the glare.

I really enjoyed number #2 , simply because i love technology but i really like the light that casts on the circuit board. You got a good eye just gotta train it more.
