First HDR Attempt

What do you guys think of my first HDR attempt?

I agree that it's a fine shot. But as an HDR exercise, shouldn't someone point out that all the highlights are blown?

At the size Slick its pretty hard to tell. Blown snow would be pure white as the background of the site page. But there is something there. My guess is its details we just cant see at the small size.

Bynx you are correct it's hard to tell this is sized way down. I have it printed on a 20x40 and the detail is great.

Beautiful shot, but I'm not getting the HDR feel. The trees need more detail. This image could be better focused.

jburrage, would you mind posting 3 pics. Each a 100% size of the original but just a small section. One could be the tree bark, one a section of snow and another an area of leaves. In that way we can see what we are actually looking at and then comments being made about what should be or could be better addressed. Its kind of silly making detailed comments on something we cant see detail at all.
