First night shot attempts. C&C please.

Took the camera out last night and tried some cityscape type shots.Let me know your opinions and what I was doing wrong. They didn't come out as crisp and detailed as I wanted so I was obviously doing something wrong but cant figure it out.


I was using 30 second shutter speeds IS0 400 ,aperture at f/16 with a 50mm prime lens .

I'd lower down the ISO and increase the aperture. Nothing much in the foreground so you need not worry about the focus of the foreground.
