First outing with my new d5200; snowy mountain goodness

Took my new nikon d5200 out on its first proper outing this last week, and while quite a chilly afternoon in the snoqualmie pass area of washington I'm pleased with this camera so far.
Opinions more than welcome, thanks for looking

Both shots are dark and a bit blue. I don't know too much about editing yet but you can adjust this a bit in editing.

By by the way which side of the pass are you from? We just came across there on Sunday and the ski hill still didn't have enough snow for skiing, just sledding. N

Yeah on its default settings it seems to be favoring cooler tones, I'll have to try a little messing about with the settings.

West side here. Yep there was grass and plants sticking through the snow on the slopes, and quite the abundance of saucer wielding kids when I was up there!
