First Post First pics

Hi guys,

I've been "lurking" for awhile admiring some of the awesome images you all create.

Here's a favourite picture of mine of my daughter, it's a scan from a print that was in my mousemat for a couple of years and was a little worse for wear, unfortunately the negative has been lost.

I cleaned up all the dust and scratches, balanced the colour a little ( still don't think it's right) and also made a BW version to see what it looks like.

Thanks guys, sad thing is that it's almost impossible to get a serious picture of her now. She likes to pull faces whenever there's a camera around. Mmmh maybe I'll wait till she's asleep!

I love it! How old is she? Reminds me of my almost 5 year old son.

Funnily enough, in the second picture she is indeed 5 years old. In the first she is 2. It's amazing the difference 3 years makes.
