First Self Portrait

So my family and I do a fun "photo war" just like fight club, this category was self portraits..

I used nikon d3100 and kit 18-55mm lens. Processed in LR and used natural light by the window to get my eye popping. I would say I probably could have shaved up used less DOF. but they all had their photos submitted this morning and well....it was a rough college night, so I woke up and ran around trying to get a self portrait.

I think you cropped off too much here, a 50% slice perhaps?

ohh yeah, sorry I don't have the 'assets' she did *sigh* however, yeah a 50 would probably work. I was trying to make my eye pop. Plus I didn't have a tripod so I had to take numerous frames with my camera rigged up on a book case lol.
