first pic is gorgeous, the second is good but less impressive (don't really know why, it's the pose and the DOF combined I guess).

(oh and it's a pet peeve of mine and I know why it's there, but really, a colour watermark in a B&W.... It's very distracting, even for just showcasing these.)

I do too. Beautiful children and very nice shots.

Thanks everyone! They are so used to posing allready, I can just bring out the backdrops, and they get all ready for posing.

I agree, those are great shots. I think #1 might be like 1/3 of a stop or so overexposed

But I also agree about those watermarks!

So detracting from trying to appreciate the shot

well, I like the m composition wise, and their faces are certainly rather expressive.

however, the eyes look overdone IMHO, quite artificial.

And as for the watermarks, they are so intense that I firs thought they were buttons I should press. Very unpleasant watermarks.

Nice shot but th PP seems a little hard for kid pix.

I think the formatting is off, with too much non-contributory stuff on the verticals.
