Not bad... I've always wanted to go to one of the high school games around here and try it out.
 
I like number 3. I think if you cropped alittle more to the right side and cut out the legs, the focus will be more on the ball
 
Nice work DS!!! one thing that is amazing is what a difference a 2.8 lens can mean over an f/4. I do think some of your night shots suffered because of this but you did capture some great moments. Do you plan on shooting more? I hope you made a good impression so you can continue to practice on this team.
 
Thank you. Yeah I really wish I had a 2.8 but it's just so much money at the moment, even for the sigma. The stadium is pretty well lit tho. I could easily get 1/200 - 250 at iso 1600 and my 430ex. Even for when I do day games the DOF from the 2.8 is much nicer. For sure I want to go back.
 
These are a little too grainy for my taste, but that's hard to avoid without really expensive glass and better light. #2 takes the cake in my book.
