First time shooting Medium Format... (And a random snapshot)

All these were shot with an Argus seventy five Tlr and Lomo 120 film..

Now obviously there was a light leak somewhere along the line, I electric taped the edges of my camera to make sure that wasn't the problem, But any tips other than that?




And a random snapshot I took on the way home, That I thought was kinda neat;

Given the right subject, something very old or rustic, you could play around with that light leak in an artistic sense. But I'm not so sure it is just a light leak. Skip a couple adjacent frames and develop and print them and see what you get. It might be a leak in handling of the film.

Edit: If you can get the same leak effect on a few "unshot" frames (cover the lens), post them. They can be nice patterns people can Photoshop into their own pictures to give them that aged film or old camera or 1880's look.

I was thinking that too, I had to tape the film spool in the middle of a mall, so it may have come in contact with light then..
