Hi everyone I am new to taking pictures on my sixth generation 9.7” iPad. I have Adobe PS Express app on my iPad. I want to take scenery outdoor pictures with my iPad. I had this iPad for two months. I have some questions to ask.

Is there lenses out there I can mount on my iPad that is designed for my sixth generation iPad?

What kind of photo accessories are there for my iPad?

I have a old Olympus E-520 DSLR with 18-180mm lens and external flash for it.

Is there a way I can transfer CF card pictures from my old Olympus DSLR to my iPad?

I have a old PC that is ten years old.

Will my iPad have better quality photos than my old DSLR after mounting lenses that is designed for my iPad.

Thanks

Your old DSLR will out perform the iPad for photo quality and ability to adjust more of the settings. iPads and phones have improved, but they still have a tiny sensor and a microscopic lens.

Much of the improvements in image quality with phones and tablets has been through post processing anyway - so you can take a better base image from your DSLR and process it on the iPad. There's adapters to transfer the images if your camera does not have WIFI.

And add on lenses for tablets are mainly for fun. Better to spend money on a cheap 50mm wide aperture lens for your DSLR.

I pads will not take cf cards
However have a look at the expand or xpand mem stick I have one for my I phone 6 and it plugs into usb as well

I'd be surprised if an iPad outperformed a DSLR camera. Does Apple even make supporting gear like that for iPads?

Thanks for the information. I will keep using my Olympus E-520 DSLR with 18-180mm lens. What is the best way to transfer my best pictures taken with my DSLR on my Windows 7 PC to my iPad? I do have an external SD card reader for my iPad. Most of my pictures is taken in jpeg. What is the best way to put my jpeg picture files from my DSLR that is on my computer to my 16 GB SD card and transfer my pictures to my iPad with my external SD card reader? I have Adobe PS Express on my iPad.

Thanks
