First Time Using a Speedlight, Definitely Something to Get Used To! C&C Welcome.

I finally got my speedlight in today. It's a Nikon SB-700 and while I've done all of my photography without flash, this new gadget really brought my a whole lot of confusion. I'll have a lot of learning to do. I was fiddling around with it briefly, not knowing what I was doing, and got this shot here. I'm sure it's a long shot from an awesome shot so any input or advice on speedlights would be great! :thumbup:

The flash was aimed towards the ceiling. And the background and base was black construction paper.

can we get some more info? What was the power output? Did you set it to TTL or manual? Its underexposed.
