First time with water droplets

Tell me what you guys think! I didn't use a macro lens, but rather a 70-200 f2.8.

You have areas of washout, including the water droplets, which are essential to the image. Don't like the bubble being cut-off like that at the bottom. Much of the critical bubble breakage is out of focus. It's a good first effort though and you should keep at it. There are other shots of this type over at Flickr, maybe review them to see if you can get some pointers to help as well. My father used to teach Photo Instrumentation, including stop-action shots like this (and bullets going through apples etc.). It really is a study all its own and not easy to do.
