First try-animated gif

[Trever1t]

It's not as hard as I expected. Clearly a tripod or a faster series of frames is required but CS5 makes the job pretty simple.

I know it's not good but it's my first attempt darn it! (from archived files)

Convert video to frames, then compile as animated .gif, much easier than trying to shoot each frame

[Trever1t]

I have no video!

I have no video!

Take video, then you can convert it into a .gif and put it on here!

[Trever1t]

I don't own a video cam...except my helmet cam but that defeats my purpose eh?

Won't your SLR take video?

[Trever1t]

no, it takes pictures! D700 does not do video.

I see. Just pencil in an extra 0 on the end of that and you get video! ;D

[Tomasko]

Why would anyone want to do this? 90s are back or something? It isn't visually pleasing at all, just makes one's eyes hurt.

[Trever1t]

lol, mine is a poor example and it's only posted to exhibit something new I learned to do.

I don't like sparky's example either, nothing personal there When it comes to telling a story by multiple images, I prefer to put them side-by-side, so they don't animate, flicker or anything alike...
