Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Saw some clips on youtube and thought light photos were cool. So figured I try it out. Only light source was a small flashlight.

Very cool. The color throws it off a little but otherwise well executed!

I know I'm overdue to calibrate my monitor again, but why is her skin green?

I *really* like this photo, but feel it would be infinitely better if her face was less oof and if the colors were a smidge less saturated. Haha I want to go try this now! Awesome!

I was debating the skin tone as well. But to me it looks more natural this way as if the orb thingy is giving off a orangish glow onto her skin.

Nice!
My daughter and I played around doing this last summer, just for fun. It's very hard to get it sharp b/c they would have to stand perfectly still for quite a while!

I wish she werent glowing green in her arms. I think its good but a bit too much green on her skin tone.

Thanks for the help everyone. I will see if I can't do a couple edits when I get home tonight.

twoboys- your right! it was really hard getting her to stay very still to get a decently sharp image. It is really fun when you get it right though!

just a questions..... do you think popping a flash at the last second could lock the subject in place and help you to keep them in focus?

Yea, thats basically what I did but the problem is when you do the light swirls above the hands, the light bleeds down onto her body somewhat and if she's not in the exact same position, it will cause a bit of blurr.
