Just picked up a stand from our speedlight, diffuser umbrella, 6' sync cable and a 5 in 1 reflector/diffuser. The two photos of the Weimaraner are cropped but other wise straight out of the camera. I did play with the photo of my wife and another one of our Weimaraners in Photoshop. Your thoughts?
I really wasn't to concerned about the back ground as this was my first try with the setup. Used TTl for the first photo.
1.
Used manual flash setting with photos 2 and 3. 2. lighter/brighter and 3. darker/moody. The metallic nature of the Weimaraner coat makes for an interesting look.
