Since camera light meters are tuned to about an 18% reflectance, they are often confused by the higher reflectance of snow.

The last one here, and to a lesser extent the first, has gray snow, because the snow is under exposed.

so how do i get the snow exposed right ? and do the skys look ok ? i'm just starting to learn and i need all the help i can get.were going back in a week. and i would like to take better photo's
