Flash question

Hello all. Do any of you have any experiance with Sigma's EF 500 DG ST Flash? I seems comparable to Canon's 580EX II but in the price range of the 430EX. It also says that it supports E-TTL metering? I want to try my had with off camera flash photography and would like to be as budget minded as possible. Thanks for the help! :hail:

If it's gonna be off camera...why not just get some manual flashes and try your hand at that? Sunpaks or something are super cheap compared to a speedlite...and you could get about 3 for the same price.
