Unless I hear otherwise about this flash I think I'll go for it, because it's so cheap and it comes with a whole package deal.

It's always worth "delayed gratification" when shopping. If you can't afford an item that is, essentially, better..wait a week/month and get it then.

I forgot who mentioned it, but if you buy a nikon product then you will have that support (plus confidence in trusting the equipment) if something happens...and for 80$ more you get that (as well as a swivel!).


Then again, there really is nothing wrong with getting a nice item for a cheaper price. I am sure there is nothing wrong with the original flash equipment. It's all just a matter of preference at this point.

I agree with all of those points. Right now I'm just doing some more research and shopping around, looking for reviews of the Sunpak one and so on.
