Flies, Flies, and more Flies

There were tons and tons of Robber Flies out and about today. Almost as many hover flies as well... and there were a few bee flies out too.

That third one is pretty cool. :thumbup: I would like the first one as well but I find the bright twigs/grass distracting.

Thanks AI. That was the last image I took on the walk home. There were plenty of hover flies about but they were all perching 6" or less to the ground
