Taking a moment to admire his handiwork.
There's something special about that moment when you finally finish a project. I used to restore vintage sports cars, and the projects always seemed to end the same way; working all day and long into the night. There's usually a long moment, right after the last of the work is finished, where you just sit and admire what you've built. Tools are scattered everywhere. The last cup of coffee is quickly wearing off, slowly being replaced by a heavy, leaden weariness. As the final vestiges of the adrenaline and caffeine wear off, but before the weariness sets in, there is always a long moment of quiet, still reverence for the work so recently completed. It's a very zen like experience, and something I wanted to try and convey here; albeit on a slightly smaller scale.
