I don't think the out of focus is an issue but I'm not crazy about the composition that you chose. The 2nd flower is too close to being the same depth as the one on the left which splits my focus and my eyes end up drawn to the stem. I think if you had changed your angle and moved slightly to your left so that you were looking just a bit more at the front of that left side flower, this would have gotten a better composition with the front flower a bit more prominent and the second flower a more out of focus and distant echo of the first. This also would have gotten that out of focus bit in front of the left side flower a bit more defined.
