I like the texture on the petals in this one.

(how do you resize photos on the forum? Normally you can make the image code start off with [IMG=100x50] to control the size)

Is the pink distracting?

All these are very impressive flower shots. It is difficult to bring out the colour red (mostly so that of petals, I find) in a photo, but you succeed very well in the last photo! The pink blossom is a bit distracting though, you are right.
No worries about resizing, the big blossom with the lovely texture deserves to be presented like this. Photobucket resizes your renditions 'as they please', i.e. if your photo is larger than 250k, they will resize it and you - in the end - are surprised at how little the photo has become. (It can be annoying!) Apparently the large one was just about small enough in pixel size NOT to be reduced. Be happy !!!
