Flowers 4 U

[Bend The Light]

I find myself doing a lot more flower shots lately. Never really bothered about flowers, but when I have the 90mm f.2.8 Macro lens on, it lends itself nicely to solo flowers, I think.

Let me know what you think about these. I want to get a little bit better if I can!

#2 is by far the best of the lot. Good lighting and exposure, nice dark background and a photogenic flower. #3 is not bad, but I suspect that wasn't that particular flower's best side, and also there's a little shadowing on the petal in the center. #1 was taken in horrible harsh light and the background is distracting. I always wish for cloudy days - you must get your share over there, no?

Yes, I think 2 is the best, too.
I like number 1, for the dertail in the petals, but the background ruins it...it was exposed to the light a little, too...early afternoon sunshine.
