trenton, i totally agree and i didnt notice it until after i posted it, but when i went back and edited it so the sides were even, i lost a lot of its vibrancy so ill have to work on that. thanks!

Very nice, beth. What happens if you rotate it 180 degrees? The upside down writing on the card bothers me.

I think the symbolism of the broken flower is very moving even if unintentional.....the photoshop grass kills it for me though. If you did that to cover fresh dirt, I think you may have lost some of the emotion of the shot. I would love to see the raw shot

vince, i broke up that flower myself, and i agree, the grass isnt well done. here's the image with only some RAW editing.

Okay......I can see why you did the cloned grass. In that the lighting is pretty flat, you might consider taking a picture of some "good" grass and cloning it over to this picture. Overcast days in NJ shouldnt be too hard to find this time of year.

Keep working on it. Loads of potential in it.
