It was actually a well that carried all the water from the melted snow from the fields, not very charming maybe, but it made a nice picture! :) I love shooting water, to get the contrast of the blurry unsharp water and the sharp rocks.
 
I don't think its a bad photo, but it doesn't have very much "pop" for something with so much natural contrast. Perhaps the image is even a little warm? Also, you might want to change up your angle, something lower would have suited the scene better IMO.

2. I think you are a bit long with the composition. A wider perspective might help a bit.
3. The tone is a bit too red/brown for me. Totally subjective of course, but I like water shots to be a touch cooler in the WB.
