I'm currently selling on ebay and would like to take better photos. I'm not a professional photographer and basically have no experience what-so-ever. I've read about photo tents and how they're extremely helpful in this situation. I'm taking photos of shoes, all different sizes from boots to regular sized shoes. An average women's boot height is about 20 inches high so the tent has to be larger. I was looking at the Smith Victor company and they sell many different kits which include the tent and multiple lights. I have no idea though which set to buy. They sell kits with photoflood lamps or fluorescents. Is one better than the other? My choices:

2-LIGHT FLUORESCENT 250-WATT 20" LIGHT TENT KIT
2-LIGHT FLUORESCENT 250-WATT 28 IN LIGHT TENT KIT
2-LIGHT FLUORESCENT 700-WATT 28 IN. LIGHT TENT KIT
3-LIGHT FLUORESCENT 1050-WATT 28 IN. LIGHT TENT KIT
3-LIGHT FLUORESCENT 1050-WATT 48 IN. LIGHT TENT KIT

2-LIGHT PHOTOFLOOD 1000-WATT 28 IN. LIGHT TENT KIT
3-LIGHT PHOTOFLOOD 1500-WATT 28 IN. LIGHT TENT KIT

I'm definitely interested in taking a photography course, but until I find one in my area, I'd like to invest in a tent. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

No, one is not better than the other, just different.

More watts means more light. The bigger the tent, the more light you need.
