I took this in Dana Point and I was wondering if the slight motion blur detracts? I shot it at 1/1000 but thinking 1/1600 might of worked better?

It would be better if you have a HSS flash to delay the duration of water

It looks just about right to me! When moving water is photographed at realllllly brief durations, it often looks, well, weird, for lack of a better word.

Thanks I always go back and forth. If I shot it at 1600 I would be asking if it might have been better at 1000. Not that I can re-do the exact shot anyway.

Thanks I was teaching my wife about camera settings and she was standing straight up clicking straight in front and I just wanted to show her how changing levels can drastically change a photo and well I got a decent photo.
