Comments? I feel like its a little dark

I would agree that the posts in the foreground are definitely dark, caused by the shadows of shooting mid-day.
I find that your subjects are competing here and that is taking away from your image. IMO, i would pick one as your subject (bridge or pier) and reshoot. I understand that you were probably trying to give it depth, which it achieves, however it doesn't work for me. I would also try to shoot at a different time of day.

I do like the beach in the foreground though and the mountains in the background think you try again.

Thanks for your critique. I agree, there is competition. However, since we've all seen the GGB in every orientation from every angle at least 1000x, I figured adding a little flair might be nice

Ehh...nah. Set up your tripod on the pier.

I like the idea of creating a foreground using the posts, but the tops of the posts are clashing with the background. ie. the tops of all the posts are well aligned with the water line, this is not helping to add depth.
I sense you have done this deliberately, as you would have needed to get low to achieve this POV.
IMO a higher POV would have given more depth to this shot by separating the foreground and background, and reduced the "1/2 sky" you current have.
