#2 looks like he's ready to lead an assault on Hoth. ;)

Seriously though, I wish you hadn't cropped off so much of the dogs in 2 and 4. I think 1 is your strongest but I would have aimed a bit lower to get his eyes higher in the frame, closer to an ROT line.

Edit: I take that back about #1; it's already on a ROT line (well one of the eyes is anyways). Sorry, posting from my iPhone and can't see the pic and comment on it at the same time. I still may have aimed just a touch lower.

I think that number one is almost there. A bit underexposed and the left ear/frame right is cut off. Number three I love but its a bit underexposed again. I know most people say get down to the dogs level but this works for me because of the good natured expression in the dogs face and the lovely green foliage background. Number two the exposure is better just needs a bit of fill for the dark side of his face. A reflector would have worked nice there. The fourth is cute but more of a snapshot with the dog cut off. If you can boost the exposure a bit in the third I think you will be very pleased.

i love number one.. just adorable all the way around.. the others are good too.. i l like number two second best.. i like how the face is so clear and crisp and the body is a bit blurry.. you really just need to see the face in that pic..

Thanks everyone!! :)

The first dog was a foster puppy I had for a couple weeks. Her name is Lily.
The second dog is my 1 year old puppy Penn.
Third dog is my previous neighbours' dog whom I walked daily. He's about 2 now and his name is Teddy.
Fourth is my 12-year old dog Hershey.

Heey Erica!

Groeten,
Sietse
