Would work better in a photo-narrative on foreclosures, economic decline, collapse of privately owned businesses, etc. rather than as a stand alone, IMO.
I do find the image interesting. I like how the window inside is lined up with the 6 frames on the outside. I suggest cropping out the top row of windows so that it becomes more symmetrical.
I think there's potential here, but IMO, what's hurting the image is the bright background and the reflections on the glass in front. Since the eye is naturally attracted to bright objects, it's pulled right through the garage to the background. My thought is: Wait 'til evening, and then have a friend poke a speedlight through one of those broken windows to illuminate the interior just a little, and expose to enhance the broken glass & signs on the front.
