A few pics I forgot to post. I had done a quick trip to the marsh a while back during some snow. I got there and my battery only lasted 5 shots:grumpy: (hope Santa brings me one...but I really doubt that)

Chiller, that first shot is excellent. Love the snow falling.

the second shot is the best..love the snow on the beak....
the third pic, is it a nuthatch ...? thats what it looks like.....its a great shot too. i feed them, and they can hang upside down..and are so quick... great work catching that one..

great shots as always chiller....and love the signature...too true...
my fellow freak...!!

the first one is cool. 'their' positioning and the arrow made me smile! :)
good catch!

great shots chiller, love the first two especially. there is something about the first one that makes me laugh, some kind of irony or something, "birds, look here... BAM!" the second one is beautiful, i agree with aprilraven, snow on the beak adds to the shot for me...

ok, ok... lets get this straight right now.. you shoot 5 shots, and 3 of them are brilliant.. 60% My ratio is about 4% good shots.. hmmmmmmmmmmmm

nothing less then amazing bro, love them all!

Thanks all for your awesome comments. I appreciate all of them. Im hoping to see if I can sneak out to the marsh this weekend, in between errands. Waaayy too many errands to do, and it is cutting into my picture taking.:grumpy:
Thanks again everyone

Carl ... these are awesome!!!
#1 is brilliant the rest aren't any lesser! wow
love the sign the bird is resting on.. and love the way you captured it..
thanks a lot for sharing these :D
have a nice day :D

Hey Carl, great work. I was out today and it was excellent. I love the middle of the week as I was the only one there.

Exact same thoughts as Raymond. So. How do you manage to have such a great average?!

Another person here who loved the 'irony' of the first shot :)

I missed these somehow. Although I could have copied and pasted April's comments, I'll just say, I'm totally with her - the second one does it for me here. That blue jay is perfectly exposed here, great DOF - and he has snow on his beak. I can't stand it!!

Great shots, all of them.
