Found a New Mary for my Collection

Came across a new Mary shrine the other day. This one had me wondering weird stuff until I got a closer look, grabbed a snapshot, and was able to read the inscription on the statute of the guy in black. Cha Diep was a catholic priest in South Vietnam murdered by the Viet Minh. He is considered something of a martyr to Vietnamize Catholics.

Anglican and Episcopal churches have to interesting icons in them, if you've never had a look. Interesting shot.

I'm not particularly religious but I find there is always something rather solemn in Christian based shots. Certainly invokes that feeling in me anyhow.
