Maybe not the best catagory but it seemed to fit best here.

Just letting people know that Futureshop and Staples *at least in canada* has a $30cdn mail in rebate, and a $45 cdn mail in rebate if you have a previous version of McAfee. the catch is you can only get back what you pay, so if you spend $60cdn on the software, then you only get back $60cdn. This beats a $30cdn fee for a year resubscription, but the mail in rebates usually take quite a while to come in and sometimes never do.

Well the small print is you only get back what you pay, not the $75 like the outside says. Im going for it, even with just the first rebate im paying what I would pay for another year renewal plus im getting an upgrade to version 8 from 7 and I get a cd instead of just a net download. Then hopefully I qualify for the rest, I do have the old cd's from version 7.
