Problem is... the cost for NX 1 is the same as NX 2, give or take 5 bucks. If you can find someone to give it to you for free or lower price, it would be fine.

There is no problem. I posted this for people who had purchased NX right before the release of NX2. Though I can see there being other ways to take advantage of the offer as you suggest.
