This might be for some, I see no reason to leave a perfectly good earth.....I don't fly..... John Madden syndrome .....I will drive any where but off the ground, only on a ladder.
Seemed almost idyllic. He was able to meander here and there over the countryside at will in perfect conditions.
@ApertureF11Sniper, I used to work in the aircraft industry and frequently travelled abroad by air without a thought. However, I was occasionally in the company of a colleague who would fiercely grip the seat armrests on take of in particular and would not seek conversation much during a flight. Eventually he clearly felt the need to explain. He said that it might seem irrational but he couldn't get over the discomfort of sitting in an aircraft with nothing but a couple of aluminium sheets between him and a 28,000ft drop below him. Actually, not so irrational when you think about it.
