Mary Meachum Mural

I'd seen photos of this but finally managed to visit it in person this morning. The first site in Missouri added to the National Parks Underground Railroad network. A decade before the Civil War Mary Meachum was smuggling slaves across the Mississippi to freedom in Illinois. The mural, painted in 2018 by the team at St. Louis Art Works, is an impressive sight.
