So I had gone outside and picked a couple small daffodils that have come up in the garden (yay flowers!!) and brought them in for a setup shot. Unfortunately the setup failed miserably but I found this guy on the window and he was glad to be offered the flower to walk onto. I did some freelensing and this one I like :)

Would love to hear your thoughts, thanks for taking a look!

Thanks Bill :)

Brian, ah ours are JUST starting to bloom!

TreeofLifeStairs, freelensing is when the lens you are using isn't attached to the camera. Often it is used as a makeshift macro lens by reversing a lens and holding it backwards against the lens mount. In this case I have a lens mounted and I'm holding another lens in front of it to give me greater magnification.

Nice head on shot of a ladybird. Ahhh, lens stacking. Used that a lot in the olden days ;), generally on a fixed digital zoom and used the Canon FD 100mm reversed on front, worked just fine. Nice going and it came out well.

All the best Judi, nice work.

Danny.
