Friday night lights - week 3 (for me)

Here are a few from my third week of shooting H.S. Football.

1) Take the field.



2) Playing catch.



3) Nice tackle.



4) Nice running lane.



5) Where to go?

First two not really much there other than the team running on the field, second one the ball is lost in the background. The last 3 have all the content but could use a tighter crop. The third on would have much more impact if it made it into a vertical. Try cropping it and see if it doesn't look better. The fourth one is one of those that cropping the leg and hip out has the RB nearer the edge of the frame, but cropping the other side may offset that. The last one I would crop as a vertical again with just the running back and #33.

The exposures are good and as I said the content is there.

Thanks for the help. I knew that the first one wasn't much other than to start the story. I see what you are talking about in the others. I am having to learn about cropping football photos, it is just hard for me to crop out a bunch of stuff that is going on.

Here are the changes to the last 3. I went square in them to keep from cropping parts off.
