Friendly suggestion: Way too much Advertisements!

I'm currently on my work Mac, where I don't have an ad blocker installed. I have no ads at the bottom anywhere near the "similar threads" listing, but I *do* have an ad that shows at the top of the page, and one that shows on the right side in the "sidebar" area. I thought you might just be onto something, with the idea that perhaps the ads had a glitch and weren't showing in the right place for Raj...BUT, he ALSO has ads in the "normal" spots, the same as mine.

I've not had a single "pop-up" sort of ad show up, Raj. Methinks perhaps you have some sort of malware/virus thing going on.

Definitely not a virus, I know the pattern and I do this for a living. Adware is quite possible though as I let my sister use it a few days back, I'll run a check today but the adblock is doing it's job.

Or it could be your ISP throwing all kinda of stuff your way!

That's a possibility I didn't think of, certainly possible knowing how customer friendly our ISPs are.

I use Ghostery on safari and here is the trackers its blocking on TPF.
