From a Hike

I have been trying to get back into shape lately, so I've been bringing my T3 with me to make me forget im actually exercising. I snapped this one over at Mills Mansion in Staatsburg, NY. I would have gotten more, but a cicada landed on me and I almost feel into the Hudson River :lmao:

Too much muddy water - centered horizon - not much appeal.

I like how the sky turned out. Unfortunately I can't do anything about the "muddy water" due to the fact that how the Hudson looks in my area.

What was your intent when you took the photo?

As it stands, there's no real subject. Composition wise, the photo is dominated by water, but there's nothing in the water.

I see what you are saying by the water. I was going for the overall landscape with the mountains. The next time I go back there, I'll try for not as much water.
