From my backyard bird count this morning

Took a few shots this morning while counting for the Great Backyard Bird Count this morning.

I had 3 pairs of Bluebirds checking out my nest box.

Eastern Bluebird (female) At this time of the morning the only good sun is not in a great place, so the shots are on my house.

Palm Warbler (sun not where I would like it but did what I could)

Very nice! I am soooo ready for spring and the colorful birds to return!
If I had to count the birds in our backyard it would be something like 150 house sparrows, 15 cardinals and 2 mourning doves.

last shot is certainly the favourite although the first shot is really nice too

Hunter, nice shots. If I had to count my "backyard birds", all I would get are a bunch of magpies and maybe a few over-winter sparrows. I can hardly wait for the birds of spring and summer to return.

I went out yesterday using 55-300, and just can not get crisp photos.
