Fuji S2 focusing - sorted!

It was the lenses after all!
BOTH my zooms were focusing behind the subject and I`d actually sent the camera back to Fuji (they returned it yesterday saying it was fine) but today I got a Nikon D70 with an 18-70mm DIGITAL Nikkor and tried it out on the S2 and it was perfectly sharp in all the tests I did.
There are loads of threads on various photo forums about focusing issues with the Fuji S2 and the answer seems to be that older lenses (or maybe just cheaper ones) cause the problem.
