Fun at the Big Rock

The artwork is called "Levitating Mass" and I've taken hundreds of shots of this piece with and without people interacting or ignoring it, and I've posted some here. This is from yesterday (at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.)

Does seem like it would offer some interesting photo opportunities using models. Obviously a mechanical requirement but it´s too bad those triangular brace/supports are required as they detract from the effect of precariousness.

Interesting, though I wouldn't want to be standing under it when one of the ground moving events your region seems famous for occured.

They look pretty insubstantial when I walk under it.
